About Me

Hello, my name is Kathleen Nohrenberg. I am the owner and head photographer for Kat's Kaptures, as well as a photographer for the Littlest Heroes Project (www.littlestheroesproject.org), an amazing charity that provides free portrait sessions to families who have children with severe health deficiences.

I started taking a serious interest in photography during my Senior year of high school and never really stopped. I love catching people in their natural state and capturing a child's expression that will forever be treasured by parents. Some say I specialize in taking "Mommy Shots".

As you can see from my photo gallery, I have extensive experience in family and solo portraits, newborn and birthing photography, weddings (including preparation, ceremony, reception, and posed photos), and much more. I really enjoy capturing the entire life of a client--high school and college graduation, engagement photos, weddings, the pregnancy cycle, and family portraits. I also offer enhancement services to correct color and lighting, digitally frame your favorite photos, and even "touch-up" parts of a photo you may find distracting (such as acne, stretch marks, old tattoos, and under-eye circles or bags)!

My goal is to give you the best possible experience in your photo shoot and do my best to ensure that you are satisfied with your portraits. I’m flexible, accommodating and open to ideas on how you want your photo session to run.
